so yesterday we decided it was mountain climbing day.
we made our way to Mount Yongmasan to climb and see the waterfall (an hour an a bit by subway).
turns out, the waterfall was not turned on yet but we still decided to attempt the mountain.
it was very intense and i am tres sore today but it was so worth it.
today was a very chill day involving tanning on the roof of our apartment since it was 22!
so i spent the day up there marking tests and making lesson plans..oh the life of a teacher ahah
well rested for tomorrow though..and wednesday is election day here which equals DAY OFF
wooohooo! not sure what the plan is since its not supposed to be that nice (only 13). and this weekend we are heading to busan for a change of scenery.oh and friday was the kinder birthday party (those pictures will be the next addition)..and the week before that it was a field trip to a South American museum and an Easter party..busy busy with kinder but its starting to calm down a lil bit. i will add all those ones sometime this week.
miss you all

some pretty flowers along the way

good thing there was an outdoor workout area just in case you didnt get enough of a workout climbing the mountain (sidenote: thats as high as i got)

there was also hoola hooping and jump rope.

this is a giant houla hoop that i could not even lift by myself. this man was hoola hooping with it for over 10minutes

the trickiest part of the climb, we had to maneuver up these rocks to get any farther..eeek

our korean friends (with the apples) who helped us find our way from the 1st peak to the top

the korean guy putting the rock on. (i kinda copied him)

finally made it to the bottom! ..after 3+ hours.
unfortunately it was on the opposite side we went up on..this wouldn't have been such a problem if hadn't left our sweaters with a guy at the shop on that side.

luckily, we met some more koreans who lead us back. ..that took about an hour and a half to get to, but we got them!
longg day but well worth it.
since there are a ton of mountains here the plan is to try to climb one every 2 weeks.
